PROFILES IN CUSTOMER SERVICE
The late Mercer Ellington once wrote a song entitled "Things Ain't What They Used To Be," and that seems to be the National Anthem for the Customer Service portion of many businesses. Once upon a time, the customer was always right. Nowadays the attitude seems to be "Hey, you're wrong, we're right, go away."
This section of the website is my tribute to those companies with whom I have done business, and from whom I received shabby treatment. These are my experiences. I make no recommendations with respect to doing business with these companies. I simply post my experiences. You draw your own conclusions.
As with other portions of this website, I post as much documentation as possible. I do this for a couple of reasons. The first is you shouldn't have to take my word for anything I write. If I have documentation, my story moves from the realm of hearsay and innuendo into the realm of fact. The second, which follows from the first, is that the truth is an unassailable defense against the charge of libel.
